This is the map that liberals do not want you to see. It shows that Bush won aggregately and it serves as a perfect example for why we need the Electoral College. Listed below are some facts.

Counties won by Bush: 2,434(78%)
Counties won by Gore: 677(22%)

Square miles of counties won by Bush: 2,427,039(81%)
Square miles of counties won by Gore: 580,134(19%)

Population of counties won by Bush: 143 million
Population of counties won by Gore: 127 million

States won by Bush: 30(60%)
States won by Gore: 20(40%)

Growth (1990 to 1999) of counties won by Bush: 14%
Growth (1990 to 1999) of counties won by Gore: 5%

Now Professor Joseph Olson of the Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul Minnesota, has produced another interesting new statistic. Professor Olson looked up the crime statistics for all of these counties and came up with this:

Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Gore: 13.2
Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Bush: 2.1

Gun Owners(or Gun Owner in Household) that voted for Bush: 61%
Gun Owners(or Gun Owner in Household) that voted for Gore: 35%

The most generous states whose residents give the greatest amount of their income to community/charity and to support ministry went mostly to Bush: Bush won the 19 most generous states

Upper Class (Super rich): 4% of voters, 56% Gore, 39% Bush

The least generous states whose residents give the least amount of their income to community/charity and to support ministry went mostly to Gore: Gore won the 8 least generous states

(Note: The correlation was about 95%. The least generous Gore states were also the wealthiest states, whose elite comprises the active cadre of the Democratic Party.)
